Open House event celebrating the 200th anniversary of the UVM Natural History Collections.

 Please join us this Saturday, October 24th, for an Open House event celebrating the 200th anniversary of the UVM Natural History Collections. 

The collections will be open to the public for the first time in a while, with events happening from 10 AM to 3 PM. 

There will be talks, exhibits, a scavenger hunt, and activities for all ages. Specimens from the Zadock Thompson Zoological Collections (beetles, butterflies, birds, mammals), the Pringle Herbarium (plants), the Perkins Geological Collections (the Charlotte whale, fossils, minerals), and the Silver Special Collections (rare and beautiful natural history books) will be on exhibit.

 The event and parking are free.
