BUTTERFLY AND BUG WALK July 11

The Bugs Are Putting on a Show

Tomorrow morning is one of my favorite summertime traditions, and I'd love to see some friends and neighbors there!

Join us for the annual Bugs & Butterflies Walk at the Birds of Vermont Museum, where the real stars aren't the birds—they're the tiny, dazzling creatures hiding in plain sight. Every flower head is an airport, every leaf a neighborhood, every patch of goldenrod a bustling metropolis.

We'll amble the museum grounds with naturalists and entomologists from the Vermont Entomological Society, searching for jeweled beetles, nectaring butterflies, industrious bees, dragonflies on patrol, curious katydids, and whatever marvelous insects decide to cross our path.

No two walks are ever the same—that's the magic of the small wild.

Bring your curiosity, your camera, and your sense of wonder. The bugs have been planning this gathering all year... we're just lucky enough to be invited.

Hope to see you there!
