One way to check for Disagreements and Mavericks on your iNaturalist posts:
Disagreements:
On your iNaturalist account, select
- Identify (top right),
- Leave the first box on the left blank (or type in a selection like bees and select bees when it pops up),
- Then type Vermont (or other location) in the second box,
- Select Filters,
- Select disagreements,
- Select more filters
- Type in your inat id in the person box, then select it below.
- Select GO.
- You will see any posts that have disagreements on the ID. They might be disagreements of what you posted as an ID, OR they might be disagreements over what someone else posted as an id.
- At any rate, it is one way to check to see if there are disagreements on what you posted as an ID, and to then either
- Do nothing,
- Withdraw your ID,
- Or press agree next to the ID that is posted by someone else that you now agree with.
- If you had not entered an ID when you posted the observation and there is a disagreement - it will be between other folks who posted IDS. Again you can do nothing, ad an ID, or agree with one of the ids posted by someone else.
I found a few of my posts from a few years back that I had missed, where I had posted an ID, and the experts had disagreed with my post. I either withdrew my ID or agreed with theirs.
Mavericks: use this URL, but replace your URL with your iNaturalist ID.

Then select the view for any posts that appear.
