Declan McCabe  Declan's bio at SMC reads in part, his primary area of expertise is in the ecology of freshwater communities.

I was so focused on the spider that until someone in the group pointed it out, I had not noticed the web was shaped like a globe.

Insects' behavior is often as enjoyable to observe as the insects themselves.

Subgenus Alcidamea A member of small mason bees.

Sawflies, Horntails, and Wood Wasps Suborder Symphyta

Lopidea instabilis

Tribe Syrphini

Two-striped Grasshopper Melanoplus bivittatus

Inverting (insect watching) is being outside,
observing, experiencing, the multitude,
the diversity and the daily going ons of LIFE.

I am an 'inverter'!
